Our tour will include visits to beautiful and famous medieval touristic attractions, the main attraction being the famous Dracula’s Castle (the Bran Castle). The first stop will be in Sinaia to visit one of the most beautiful castles in the world, Peles Castle built by the first King of Romania, Carol the 1st. From the castles we return back in time going to the Prejmer Fortified Church (UNESCO), built in 1218 by the Teutonic Kinights and included in the UNESCO patrimony. The tour continues with the medieval city of Brasov built around 1400 – 1600 by saxon colonists, together with the impressive Black Church and the beautiful old City Hall, and the next stop is maybe the most awaited. Built on a rock by the Teutonic Knights in the 11th century, the Bran Castle was guarding the trade routes from the Danube region to Transilvania. Vlad the Impaler who inspired Bram Stoker to write the second largest published book in the world: Dracula, spent here a night in his way to Transylvania. The way back to Bucharest passes one of the most beautiful roads in Romania crossing the mountains from Transylvania to Wallachia, Rucar – Bran Culoir and in the night time we can also see in the dark the old Tower of Dracula and the former Princely Court from Targoviste.
