We leave Bucharest early in the morning to climb to the real eagle’s nest fortress of Dracula’s, Poienari Fortress, to be amazed of the beautiful landscape from the top of the mountain. Then we go to visit the most beautiful monastery in Romania, Curtea de Arges Monastery. At the end we will visit the Old Courtyard, the Sunset Tower and the Metropolitan Church in Targoviste, the former capital of Wallachia before Bucharest.

Castles Tour

Our tour will include visits to beautiful and famous medieval touristic attractions, the main attraction being the famous Dracula’s Castle (the Bran Castle). The first stop will be in Sinaia known as “The Pearl of Carpathian Mountains”, to visit Peles Castle – one of the most beautiful castle in the world, built by the first King of Romania, Carol the 1st. The way to the Dracula’s castle and Brașov passes one of the most beautiful roads in Romania crossing the mountains from Wallachia to Transylvania, the Prahova Valley.

Built on a rock by the Teutonic Knights in the 11th century, the Bran Castle – one of the most famous castles in the world, was guarding the trade routes from the Danube region to Transilvania. Vlad the Impaler who inspired Bram Stoker to write the second most published book in the world: Dracula, probably spent here a night in his way to Transylvania.

In the medieval city of Brasov developed between 1400 – 1600 by saxon colonists, together with the impressive Black Church and the beautiful old City Hall, will be a walking tour and free time of 1 – 1 ½ hrs.

Bucharest Essentials Tour combine both the experience of the Old Town tour and Little Paris tour and will represent a memorable journey in the area where Bucharest was founded and developed, visiting the streets of the guilds from Bucharest and enjoying the sights of the old buildings and stories of the Old Bucharest. Also from Unirii Square near Hanul lui Manuc is an amazing view across Unirii Boulevard with the beautiful fountains, at the end being the magnificent Parliament Palace building. Tour will continue with the visit at the beautiful Bucharest Museum located inside Sutu palace where King Carol the 1st used to enjoy the famous dancing parties, and then we will go in the area where were built the most beautiful palaces and buildings in Bucharest, visiting Calea Victoriei, the most beautiful street in Bucharest and enjoying the sights of the beautiful buildings and stories of the Little Paris of Bucharest. A visit inside the beautiful jewel of Bucharest, The Romanian Atheneum, the hedquarter of George Enescu philarmonic, will be a lifetime experience even if you are not attending a cultural performance. The Royal Palace and The Revolution Square together with the Royal Library behind the impressive statue of King Carol the 1st, will be completed with other beautiful palaces with french architecture. Medieval Bulgaria

Our tour will take you to the medieval part of Bulgaria, the main attraction being the fortress of Veliko Tarnovo. After we cross the Danube in Giurgiu we will enter in Bulgaria. We visit the beautiful center of the city of Ruse and then go to Veliko Tarnovo, former Bulgarian capital and the capital of tzars (kings of Vlachia and Bulgaria).

On our way to the capital of tzars we visit the beautiful monastery of Basarabov and the UNESCO rock carved monasteries in Ivanovo. After lunch in the beautiful old town of Veliko Tarnovo we have all the day left to visit the magnificent fortress of tzars in Veliko Tarnovo.

Black Sea Tour

Our tour will take you to the beautiful eastern part of Romania, the main attraction being the famous Black Sea. After we cross the Danube we will arrive in a very peaceful place of Dobrogea, where lived the saint patron of Romania. When Jesus started to look for His apostles the first called was St. Andrew who came later on these places to christianize the people. We will visit the Saint Andrew Cave where the Apostle lived for several years, and after, we go to see the largest tomb in Europe, in Adamclisi, where are burried thousands of Roman soldiers who were killed in a battle. We visit the Museum and the fortress of Adamclisi and then we go to Constanta, on the Black Sea coast, for a city tour and to visit the Roman Mosaic, the Archaeology Museum, and have a walk on the sea shore near the Casino. If weather is good we will also make a cruise on the Black Sea. Lunch will be in the touristic harbor of Constanta.
